In that time, the summer's gone by, my senior year of college has started, and I'm thinking about graduate school. As much as I love (love, love, love) writing, I'm applying to Industrial/Organizational Psychology programs all over the country. (The way I look at it, I can always write on the side, but I can't exactly conduct experiments in my basement. Legally, at least.) Don't get me wrong, psychology has always been another love of mine. So I'll be happy, I know it.
I'm not sure what possessed me to update this. I'm working the front desk watching people go out (no doubts most of them will be smashed within the next three hours), and avoiding (as usual) doing anything productive.
I am, in fact, taking a creative writing class this semester. Creative non-fiction. I love it so far, though I'm grappling with how to write true stories that are actually interesting to readers and have some sort of 'universal theme' about them. I have a few things I've written so far that I like, and when I get some more time to put them up, I may share a bit of what I've got.
